神马福利影片 partners with Martingale Foundation to support the next generation of researchers in mathematics

The 神马福利影片 is pleased to announce a new partnership with Martingale Foundation, a UK-based philanthropic organisation dedicated to supporting talented students from low-socioeconomic backgrounds to excel within postgraduate research in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

Combined with financial support from Warwick, the Foundation will provide philanthropic funding to enable up to two cohorts of up to four UK Master's students and three UK PhD students to pursue postgraduate study in the University鈥檚 world-leading Mathematics Institute, with the first cohort beginning in autumn 2027. Together this partnership will further advance the University鈥檚 ambition to鈥�Set the Pace鈥痠n the Warwick Student Experience.

Cassandra Hugill, Martingale Foundation Chief Executive, said: "We are delighted to be announcing our new partnership with the 神马福利影片. The University's Maths department, Warwick Mathematics Institute, is considered one of the best in the UK and acclaimed internationally. Working together with Warwick Mathematics Institute, we will be providing postgraduate scholarships to more talented students from low-socioeconomic backgrounds across the Midlands and beyond.

We are confident that Martingale Scholars will be able to thrive at Warwick Mathematics Institute and have the opportunity to pursue important research projects. I hope this new partnership encourages talented students, who may have thought that postgraduate study was out of reach for them, to consider applying for a Martingale Scholarship this summer. Applications will open in August for 2027 Martingale Mathematics Scholarships across Master鈥檚 and PhD - good luck to everyone who applies!"

The scholarships will allow students to receive funding to support their tuition fees, living costs, research expenses, travel, and conference attendance. Recipients will also benefit from professional development opportunities and mentoring.

The partnership forms part of a broader national initiative led by Martingale Foundation to support postgraduate education in STEM subjects across leading UK universities.
