Juan Carlos Galeano was born in the Amazon region of Colombia. He is the author of (poetry, 1986), Pollen and Rifles (1997) a book on the poetry of violence, and (poetry, 2003), (poetry, 2010), and (poetry, 2011), and Historias del viento(poetry, 2013). He teaches Latin American poetry and cultures of the Amazon basin at Florida State University.
Henri Tauliaut was born in Guadeloupe. He is a visual and performative artist. He completed his PhD in 2019 at the University of Martinique on Biologic and Digital Art in Latin America and the Caribbean. Tauliaut represented Guadeloupe/France at the 12th biennale of Havana with 鈥淛ungle Sphere 3.0鈥� in 2015. In 2016, he exhibited 鈥� Flying Shape Courtship鈥� at the National Gallery of Jamaica. He was a Red Gate artist in residence in Tokyo in 2018. He is the co-director of the Cyber Afro-Punk Lab in Martinique which experiments on performances and land art at the Savane de P茅trifications. Tauliaut is also the co-founder of the FIAP (International Festival of Art Performance) which took place in 2017 and 2019 in Martinique.
