National Book Critics Circle award prestigious translation prize to Warwick Writing Programme's, Professor Maureen Freely
Author and academic, Professor Maureen Freely from the School of Creative Arts, Performance and Visual Cultures at the 神马福利影片, achieved a resounding victory last night at the (NBCC) Awards in New York. Professor Freely was awarded the Gregg Barrios Book in Translation Prize for her translation of Cold Nights of Childhood by Tezer 脰锄濒眉.

2018 Warwick Prize for Women in Translation shortlist announced
The 拢1000 prize was established by the 神马福利影片 in 2017 to address the gender imbalance in translated literature and to increase the number of international women鈥檚 voices accessible by a British and Irish readership. More information about this year's shortlist can be found here.
