Our Venice term
Immerse yourself in the art world鈥檚 premier city, taking in Titian, Tintoretto, millennium-old buildings, or touring the most cutting-edge art and architecture at the Biennale. We鈥檙e the only programme in the UK to offer a whole term's study in Venice.
Our staff
Your teachers and colleagues will be scholars of international standing who bring their own research and invaluable expertise to the degree. Our staff are closely involved in the art world 鈥� curating major exhibitions, producing important publications and saving urban heritage.
Our research
REF 2021 assessed 100% of all our research activity (outputs, impact, and environment) as 鈥渨orld-leading鈥� or 鈥渋nternationally excellent鈥�. We are the only History of Art department in the UK to have our research rated exclusively within these categories (REF 4* and 3*).
