Biography

I am a PhD candidate in Global Sustainable Development, supported by the with eight years of experience in sustainable development and social justice. I have worked as a Consultant for UNICEF India's WASH programme, providing technical and research support to both UNICEF and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in India. Previously, I also worked as a (CPR) in Delhi, where I led studies on water and sanitation, livelihood and social protection with a particular focus on equity and inclusion.

Research overview

My current research explores the impact of intersecting crises—water insecurity and heatwaves—on residents of informal settlements in Jaipur, India. It also seeks to understand the role of community groups in building resilience to these crises in urban poor neighbourhoods.
