Exchanges: The Interdisciplinary Research Journal has just published its latest issue Vol. 12 No. 3 (2025), a special issue of papers drawn relating to the International Research Culture Conference (IRCC) hosted at the 神马福利影片 (Sept '24). It follows the earlier () special issue from the previous conference. The issue contains a range of papers including elements of practice, policy, case study and personal reflection all relating to research culture, along with observations on the configuration of the conference itself. Alongside this, the editorial also provides updates on forthcoming editorial changes alongside a content overview, as well as a guide to forthcoming issues, contribution opportunities and social media activities.

AI meets antiquity: Warwick ancient historian tests DeepMind鈥檚 transformative new model

New Warwick鈥揕uxembourg Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme Launches

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Warwick–Luxembourg Postdoctoral Exchange Programme (PEP), developed in partnership with the University of Luxembourg鈥檚 Institute for Advanced Studies.

This new scheme offers six-month interdisciplinary fellowships to early-career researchers employed at either Warwick or Luxembourg, with a focus on fostering international collaboration and public engagement.

Fellows will benefit from:

  • A fully funded six-month research visit to the partner institution
  • Mentorship from academic colleagues at both universities
  • Opportunities to develop interdisciplinary research projects
  • The chance to deliver a public engagement activity as part of the fellowship

The programme is open to researchers who are:

  • Within seven years of their PhD award (as of 1 January 2025)
  • Employed at either Warwick or the University of Luxembourg for the full duration of the fellowship

Applications will open on 1 October 2025, with a deadline of 15 December 2025 (2 pm CET). Successful applicants will begin their fellowships on 1 June 2026.

The PEP reflects our shared commitment to supporting early-career researchers, international mobility, and research that crosses disciplinary and institutional boundaries.

Belayneh Gedifew presents paper at Global Summit

EUTOPIA SIF Fellow Belayneh Gedifew attended and presented a paper, titled "Epistemological Issues Reconsidered in Ethiopia's Health Equity Research Trend," at the Global Health Innovation and Quality Summit (June 25-27, 2025), organized by the Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.

"It was an enjoyable event and an excellent opportunity to showcase our project's output and network with researchers and stakeholders."
