As a professional services colleague in the Department of Computer Science at the ÉñÂí¸£ÀûӰƬ and Centre Manager for the TIA I »å´Ç²Ô’t usually attend scientific conferences. This was my first attendance at a conference focussed on medical imaging and analysis. In the past I have attended scientific conferences focussed on renal disease and health improvement, so I was familiar with the format of scientific conferences and have even presented a poster on behalf of a team in Sweden, at a health improvement conference, on the team’s work around renal disease. European Congress on Digital Pathology (ECDP), Graz, Austria

The TIA Centre was out in full force again at the 22^nd European Congress on Digital Pathology (ECDP) 2026, this year held in Graz, just a few kilometres from Arnold Schwarzenegger's birthplace. With temperatures regularly exceeding 30°C, attendees enjoyed not only a packed scientific programme but also the opportunity to experience one of Austria's most picturesque cities, famous for its historic Old Town and the iconic Schlossberg clock tower overlooking the city.
