Since graduating, I’ve been working at Inizio Medical as an Account Executive within medical communications.
I support the delivery of global pharmaceutical projects, working across publications, congress materials, and strategic medical content. My role involves managing timelines and budgets, coordinating cross functional teams, and ensuring that complex clinical data is translated into clear, impactful communication for healthcare professionals. I’ve also had the opportunity to work on high profile accounts early in my career, which has accelerated both my scientific understanding and project management skills.
What I enjoy most is being at the intersection of science and strategy. I’m able to engage with cutting-edge clinical data while also playing a key role in how that information is communicated and applied in practice.
The fast paced, collaborative nature of the work means no two days are the same, and I find it particularly rewarding to contribute to projects that ultimately support better patient outcomes. I also value the level of responsibility and exposure I’ve been given early in my career.
My degree gave me a strong scientific foundation, but more importantly, it trained me to think critically and communicate complex ideas clearly.
At Warwick, I developed the ability to analyse data, evaluate evidence, and structure information logically, skills that are directly transferable to medical communications. It also built my confidence in engaging with scientific literature, which has been key in allowing me to quickly adapt to real-world clinical projects.
A highlight of my time at Warwick was the balance between the academic side and the social side of university life. Some of the most memorable moments were the simple ones, like staying up late watching films with friends. It is something you do not quite get in the same way once you start working, and it made the experience feel very unique. At the same time, Warwick pushed me to become more independent and self-disciplined, which is something I still rely on in my role today.
