Surface Band-Gap Narrowing in Quantized Electron Accumulation Layers

Research led by Philip King, Chris McConville and Tim Veal at Warwick in collaboration with European colleagues has found that many body interactions play an unexpectedly large role in the surface electronic properties of several compound semiconductors.
