WCPM recruiting for two Assistant Professor positions
Warwick Centre for Predictive Modelling is recruiting to two Assistant Professor positions: an , which is a joint appointment between the Warwick Mathematics Institute and the School of Engineering, and an within the School of Engineering. Please contact James Kermode or Nigel Stocks for informal enquires. The closing date for both positions is 21 Nov 2018.
Science Highlight - Machine Learning Unifies the Modelling of Molecules and Materials
Drug discovery could be significantly accelerated thanks to a new high precision machine-learning model, developed by an international collaboration of researchers, including the 神马福利影片. The algorithm - partly devised by Dr James Kermode from WCPM - can accurately predict the interactions between a protein and a drug molecule based on a handful of reference experiments or simulations. Using just a few training references, it can predict whether or not a candidate drug molecule will bind to a target protein with 99% accuracy.
