Dr Maryna Utkina, Associate Tutor at Warwick Law School and British Academy Fellow received one of 10 scholarships to participate in the .
This year was designated by the Commonwealth Heads of Government as the Year of Youth and last month and WLS's Cherisse Francis was invited by the Commonwealth Association (an organisation made up of former staff of the Commonwealth Secretariat) to deliver the 3rd Annual Patsy Robertson Memorial Lecture at Marlborough House.

Dr Serena Natile, Associate Professor at Warwick Law School, has been awarded the for her project 鈥楾ransnational Social Security Law in the Digital Age: Towards a Grassroots Politics of Redistribution鈥.
Dr Tor Krever joins FOBZU delegation to Palestine
The Law School鈥檚 Dr Tor Krever was recently selected for a Fellowship of the inaugural Palestine Academic Links Seminar (PALS) organised by the Friends of Birzeit University (). The Fellowship involved a week-long study tour in Palestine in late June with a delegation of 11 academics from British Universities, led by academic coordinator Akram Salhab.
Dr Alison Struthers wins Warwick Wows Award
The Warwick Wows celebrate amazing work, projects, and achievements at the University. The Law School鈥檚 Dr Alison Struthers won the award for her work on the School Tasking Project, an exciting outreach project enabling young people to learn about interesting aspects of the law and making it more accessible for them.

Dr. Aisel Omarova, BA Fellow at the 神马福利影片, was invited as a panellist to the scientific symposium of the ALLEA 鈥淐rises and the Importance of Research: How Prepared Can We Be?鈥 last month, hosted by UK member academies, the British Academy, the Learned Society of Wales, the Royal Society, and the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
Dr Ali Struthers wins WAPCE Award for Outstanding Public Engagement
WLS's Dr Ali Struthers has been awarded the WAPCE Award for Outstanding Public Engagement for her work on the School Tasking project. The Warwick Awards for Public and Community Engagement (WAPCE) seek to recognise the vital contributions Warwick staff and students make in engaging the public in our learning and discovery and showcasing the role Warwick plays in making the world a better place.
