‘Pay It Forward’ at Eatwise outlets
Can you help a student in need? At Eatwise outlets, you can ‘Pay It Forward’ by purchasing a meal or drink for a student in need. Simply go to any till point and choose to donate a drink or meal to spread kindness across our community.
New name for the Academic Processes team
The team that supports our academic community with career progression – including academic probation, promotion, leave and the recruitment of professors and heads of departments – is now known as the Academic Progression team.
It’s part of a reorganisation of the team to better support our faculties, with each now supported by a designated Faculty Advisor.

Breast cancer peer support group
If you have been affected by breast cancer in any way, you are welcome to join the new breast cancer peer support group to talk to others in a safe and confidential space. The group will meet for the first time on Wednesday 18 February.

Did you know we have accommodation options on campus for staff (including families with children, couples, single occupants), and students with families? The Staff and Family Housing team can also support new colleagues and visiting academics to find accommodation.
