Warwick Ventures' Director, Ederyn Williams, was the proud recipient of the award for ‘Knowledge Transfer Champion’ at this year's Lord Stafford Award ceremony. Each year awards are given to individuals, businesses, and organisations which are recognised as having stimulated innovative collaboration between West Midlands' businesses and Universities.

Jane Cummings, a plumber within the Estates Department at Warwick, was recently awarded the ‘Alan Heath Shield’, at an awards evening in honour of students who had completed courses within the Construction Department at Warwickshire College. Jane was awarded with the shield as the top NVQ Level III plumbing student at the college.

Joy Warren is the new Resource Management Coordinator at Warwick. Her role involves coordinating and putting into place the new University schemes for recycling waste materials (recyclates) throughout the University.  The first and current scheme involves paper and card.

Daryl Hindmarsh has been appointed Interim Director of IT Services. He will join the University on Monday and formally take up the role following Rosemary Gilmore’s retirement at Christmas.
