You will all be aware by now that Paul Greatrix, Deputy Registrar will leave us in December to take up the position of Registrar at the University of Nottingham. Rosemary Gilmore, Director of ITS is retiring and Donald Beaton, Director of HR left during the Summer to become Secretary at Kingston University.
Whilst change can be disconcerting it always provides opportunity and I am writing to let you know of some slight amendments to structure and personnel arising from the above departures.

Sue Bennett, currently Staff Development Manager with the Two Shires Ambulance NHS Trust, will be joining Warwick as Director of the newly created Centre for Academic and Professional Development (CAPD) on 6 November.
Paul Johnson, who served as a cinema projectionist in Coventry for 50 years, recently retired from his role as Chief Projectionist at Warwick Arts Centre. Paul worked at the Arts Centre for 30 years and saw the building and programme expand considerably over that time.

Congratulations to Mary Visser, Deputy Director of IT Services, who is leaving Warwick on 7 September 2006 to become Director of IT at the University of Leicester.
