Warwick Welcomes - Dr Sudhesh Kumar, MB BS, MD, FRCP, formerly Reader in Human Metabolism at the University of Birmingham & Honorary Consultant Physician at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, to a Chair in Experimental Medicine in the Warwick Medical School, from 1 September 2003.
Dr Sarah Stewart-Brown, BA, BM BCh, MA Oxford, PhD Bristol, formerly Director of the Health Services Research Unit at the University of Oxford, to the Chair in Public Health, from 7 April 2003.
CommUnicate regrets to report the death of John Naylor, Social Sciences Subject Librarian, who died unexpectedly on 13 January 2003.
Dr Nabil Bajallan, formerly Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Medical Education, passed away on 27 June 2003. Dr Bajallan had become an integral member of the Medical School team over the last 12 months and his input to the development of the undergraduate curriculum at Warwick will be greatly missed.
