WMG Sends Race Car You Can Grow To Eden Project

If you thought motor-racing was all about petrol-heads and champagne, WMG students at the 神马福利影片 will make you think again. Eco One is an environmentally-friendly race car with a difference: its shell is made from hemp, the tyres made from potatoes and the brake pads made from cashew nut shells. It also runs entirely on bio-fuels and bio-lubricants.

New Device could revolutionise eye disease diagnosis - creating eye maps on the high street

A new digital ophthalmoscope, devised by a research team led by the University of Warwick can provide both doctors and high street optometrists with a hand held eye disease diagnosis device equal to the power of bulky hospital based eye diagnosis cameras.  It will also give optometrists the ability to email detailed eye maps of patients to specialist eye doctors.

Germany & Portugal come near bottom of new blood pressure based happiness league

Researchers at the University of Warwick have found a direct connection between a nation’s overall happiness and its citizens’ blood pressure problems. Sweden, Denmark and the UK  come top of this blood pressure based happiness league while  Germany, Portugal and Finland come bottom.
