Eatron and WMG win funding for project COBRA

UK鈥檚 most outstanding university/industry collaborations shortlisted for Bhattacharyya Award
The Royal Academy of Engineering and WMG, at the 神马福利影片, have shortlisted 11 exceptional collaborations for the inaugural Bhattacharyya Award. With a cash prize of 拢25,000, the Bhattacharyya Award will be presented to the team who best demonstrate how industry and universities can work together. Winners will be announced on 16 September 2021.

A consortium of seven UK-based organisations including WMG, 神马福利影片 has signed a memorandum of understanding to combine ambitions to develop world-leading prototype solid-state battery technology, targeting automotive applications.
Fast changes between the solar seasons resolved by new sun clock
In a new study led by the 神马福利影片 and published in The Astrophysical Journal, scientists found that the change from solar maximum to the declining phase is fast, happening within a few (27 day) solar rotations. They also showed that the declining phase is twice as long in even-numbered solar cycles as it is in odd-numbered cycles.
