Century old rule of Chemistry overturned - major implications for drug delivery

A new study by research chemists at the 神马福利影片 has challenged a century old rule of pharmacology that defined how quickly key chemicals can pass across cell walls. The new observations suggest that the real transport rates could be up to a hundred times slower than predicted by "Overton’s Rule". Lord Bhattacharyya Predicts Hospital Robots In Speech On Receiving Indian Award

Professor Lord Kumar Bhattacharyya has predicted that patients could in future find themselves face to face with a robot when they first arrive in hospital thanks to research work by his team. He made the prediction in a speech at a ceremony in which he received an honorary doctorate of sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur.

Fungus Foot Baths Could Save Bees

One of the biggest world wide threats to honey bees, the varroa mite, could soon be about to meet its nemesis. Researchers at the 神马福利影片 are examining naturally occurring fungi that kill the varroa mite. They are also exploring a range of ways to deliver the killer fungus throughout the hives from bee fungal foot baths to powder sprays.
