The upper four floors of (floors 2, 2A, 3 and 3A) will be temporarily unavailable on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st July while essential structural inspection and testing works are carried out.

Drivers should use the lower floors where spaces are available or allow additional time to find alternative parking elsewhere on campus. To allow outstanding issues with the newly installed accessible parking bays at the rear of the Library to be addressed, the bays will be temporarily closed from the 16th to 21st July.

During this period, blue badge holders may utilise previous arrangements and are encouraged to use the service vehicle area adjacent to the existing accessible bays near Science Block A, where possible.

We understand this may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience while these essential works are carried out.

Estates Stores will be closed on Thursday 23 July and Friday 24 July to allow for stocktaking to take place. Staff across the University are asked not to arrange deliveries to Stores on these dates and to plan ahead for any materials or items they may require.

on Health Centre Road will be closed from Sunday 5 July 2026 for approximately two weeks to allow resurfacing and relining works to be carried out.

Please ensure that your vehicle has been removed from the car park before this date.

UPDATE 22/06/2026: The closure scheduled for the 26th to 29th June 2026 has been postponed and work will be done when the road is scheduled to close at the end of July.

UPDATE 29/05/2026: The closure scheduled for the 30th and 31st May 2026 has been postponed and work will be done when the road is scheduled to close at the end of June.

We would like to inform staff and students of upcoming road closures as part of the A46 Stoneleigh Junction Improvement Scheme.

To safely carry out essential works, Stoneleigh Road bridge over the A46 will be closed on the following dates:

• 3rd and 6th July 2026
• 25th and 26th July 2026

A signed diversion route will be in place during these closures (see image below).

These works are being carried out to support improvements to the A46 Stoneleigh Junction and may impact journeys to and from campus. Please allow additional travel time and plan your route accordingly.
