Critical works on the bus interchange

During the week commencing 23rd August, there will be critical repair works along the bus stops closest to the Arts Centre within the interchange. During these works, these bus stops will not be available for use and the local bus services will be using alternative stations within the interchange. Works are expected to take up to a maximum of 3 days.

Road closure via Morreal Meadows junction, Gibbet Hill Road: Monday 16 August

There will be section 50 Works for the installation of Surface Water & Foul Water sewer connections for new housing development on behalf of William Davis. The road closure will be for 3 weeks followed by 2 weeks of temporary lights on Gibbet Hill Road via the Morreal Meadows junction.

Walk Talk Walk launched at the ÉñÂí¸£ÀûӰƬ Campus

In June this year, Coventry got its first Walk Talk Walk global organisation called Run Talk Run, which was founded by Jess Robson in London in December 2017. The idea was to make movement and wellbeing support less intimidating and more accessible in the communities. The walks take place every Thursday evening at 18:30, starting from the Warwick Sports and Wellness Hub. The routes are planned around the campus area and are usually 3 to 5k long, taking about an hour to complete.

Managing the biodiversity of our campus – works on site

The Estates team are required undertake regular tree surveys across campus to check the individual health of trees and the impact of each tree on the biodiversity around them; these tree surveys may, at times, may require us to prune or fell trees if they are deemed to be high risk, diseased or unsafe. We wanted to ensure you knew that, within our current tree management arrangements, our policy is that for every one tree felled we will replace with either 5m hedgerow or two new trees on campus.
