The programme blends evidence鈥慴ased models, experiential learning, and reflective practice using your real work scenarios. You will explore what effective decision making and accountability look like, understand the impact of your preferred style, identify barriers that get in the way, practise conversations that support a culture of ownership, and commit to meaningful behavioural changes. The workshop will enable you to be better equipped to make sound decisions, take responsibility for outcomes, and navigate accountability with greater confidence.
Star Coach is designed to help you develop your own coaching approach, empower your team, free up more of your time, and achieve your STAR庐 Coach accreditation.
By dedicating approximately one hour each week, you'll work through 10 practical modules covering essential coaching skills, including:
Identifying when a coaching approach is the most effective.
Coaching naturally through everyday conversations.
Developing active listening skills.
Asking powerful questions that encourage insight, reflection, and growth in others.
*Please note this is a practical programme which requires you to apply your learning immediately. If you are an aspiring manager you and your line manager must ensure you have sufficient opportunities to practice the skills and techniques shown in the programme. These opportunities may be from temporarily supervising others or leading a team project.
This one-day interactive workshop is designed for colleagues with little or no experience of managing or supporting projects, whether within local teams, departments, or central functions.
The in-person session will explore the key principles and practical approaches needed to support the successful delivery of projects.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to understand the core responsibilities and activities of managers, develop strategies for effectively managing and prioritising their workload, explore the qualities and behaviours that make an effective manager, and recognise the challenges associated with transitioning into a management role while identifying ways to overcome them.
