Warwick Venice Centre hosts workshop on Modern Trends in Parametrized Complexity

Between the 20^th and 23^rd of April WVC was pleased to welcome the “Workshop on Modern Trends in Parameterized Complexity” of 2026, organised by Ramanujan Sridharan, Associate Professor in Computer Science at Warwick, hosting 35 participants from 14 countries, thus bringing together an internationally diverse community. The MTPC is a workshop which brings together leading researchers and early-career scientists for a 3.5-day programme in Palazzo Giustinian Lolin in Venice.

The WVC was pleased to host a workshop organized by Ludovica Gazze (Warwick/CAGE), Andrea La Nauze (University of Melbourne), and Mar Reguant (Northwestern University) in April 2026. The workshop brought together over 20 women working in Environmental economics at the Warwick Venice Centre.

Valeria Zane is the new Director of the Ugo and Olga Levi Foundation

The Warwick Venice Centre celebrates the appointment of Valeria Zane as the new Director of the Ugo and Olga Levi Foundation, which shares its home at the Palazzo Giustinian Lolin with the Warwick Venice Centre.

The Levi Foundation is active in musicological and ethnomusicological research in Venice and the Veneto, national and European spheres, including the cataloguing and study of music collections. The Warwick Venice Centre is eager to work with the Foundation and to collaborate ever more closely with them in our ongoing activities.
