Slow performance when connected to VPN
Update 28/5

Some staff have previously experiencing performance issues with the VPN service.
This presented as slow loading of webpages or applications, or difficulty accessing them.

On Thursday 28th May at 07:30 changes were applied to the STAFF VPN.
Early indications are that these changes have improved performance, but we will continue to monitor.
If you experience any issues with the VPN, please log a ticket with the IDG Service Desk:

Contacting the Service Desk

The Service Desk is currently experiencing issues with the Helpdesk system.
There have been several outages this evening, which may affect their ability to manage tickets.

For urgent IT issues, please call the Helpdesk on 02476 573737.
If you contact us via the portal or email, responses may take longer than usual while the issue continues.

VPN issue

Some staff may notice that the Service is slower than normal.
Symptoms when connected are slowness loading webpages or use applications (or unable to access them).

We are investigating this issue urgently.
