Between the 20^th and 23^rd of April WVC was pleased to welcome the 鈥淲orkshop on Modern Trends in Parameterized Complexity鈥� of 2026, organised by Ramanujan Sridharan, Associate Professor in Computer Science at Warwick, hosting 35 participants from 14 countries, thus bringing together an internationally diverse community. The MTPC is a workshop which brings together leading researchers and early-career scientists for a 3.5-day programme in Palazzo Giustinian Lolin in Venice.

The WVC was pleased to host a workshop organized by Ludovica Gazze (Warwick/CAGE), Andrea La Nauze (University of Melbourne), and Mar Reguant (Northwestern University) in April 2026. The workshop brought together over 20 women working in Environmental economics at the Warwick Venice Centre.

On 31st March, Dr Comiati will give a public lecture at the Warwick Venice Centre titled 'Venetian Heroes at Lepanto: Epic Poetry, Lay Martyrdom and the Self-Fashioning of the Serenissima Republic' The event is co-sponsored by the Warwick Centre for the Study of the Renaissance and is part of our One World Warwick celebrations.
