Widener's Dwyer School of Nursing is committed to preparing highly trained and flexible nurse leaders who are committed to enhancing care increasing quality and improving outcomes. One of the best ways to prepare nursing students is through the nursing simulation lab, also known as the center for simulation. Students are able to practice clinical skills and assessments. We provide simulations and scenarios for all levels of nursing students. Students encounter real-world clinical situations in a safe environment, where mistakes can be made without patient harm.

This space has been such an important part of my academic career because it taught me confidence before I had to look a real patient in the eyes.
What a great refresher before graduation and NCLEX!
The simulation lab is helpful because it gives us a more critical understanding of what the nurse should do.
