Success for Warwick FTV鈥檚 First Practice-Based PhD Project
Hande 脟ay谋r has received the 2026 IAANI Outstanding Audio and/or Visual Project (Honorable Mention) Award for her project, 'Filming Madness: Institutions, Individuals, and Ethical Considerations'

Alastair Phillips has been shortlisted for the 'Excellent Supervision' award at the Annual Warwick Research Celebration. The event takes place on Monday 7 April (13:30–18:30) at The Slate. The awards will be presented between 14:00 and 15:00

A video essay by the department鈥檚 Tom Hemingway and James MacDowell was chosen by two contributors to Sight & Sound's best-of 2024 poll. Their video is about Bo Burnham's Netflix comedy special INSIDE, authenticity and YouTube aesthetics. The list also includes James' picks for best video essays of the year.
