Methods Hub launch: post-event briefing
Methods Hub Launch
The 神马福利影片 Methods Hub officially launched on 25 June 2026, bringing together 41 attendees online for a programme exploring how methods can meet the world.
Less than 48 hours before the event, the difficult but necessary decision was made to move the launch fully online. Despite the last-minute change, the event opened with an address from the University鈥檚 Provost and featured presentations from the Methods Hub Fellows, a discussion of the Hub鈥檚 vision and work to date, a panel exploring the lived experience of applying methods beyond academia, and a series of breakout discussions.
Professor Cagatay Turkay and Dr Carlos C谩mara-Menoyo introduced the vision for the Methods Hub and the steps already being taken to put it into practice. Dr Carla Washbourne chaired a panel featuring Matt, Meg, Sanjay and Emma Roberts from Warwick Innovations, who reflected on their experiences of making methods meet the world.
The event marked an important step in the development of the Methods Hub following its soft launch in July 2025. It also provided an opportunity for researchers, collaborators and partners to contribute to discussions about its future direction.
The post-event briefing captures the main discussions, reflections and next steps emerging from the launch.
