Throughout June, representatives from Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) at the ÉñÂí¸£ÀûӰƬ welcomed Ministers, regional leaders, industry groups, and guests from the University of Ghana. Staff also represented WMG in Parliament and at international graduation ceremonies.

WMG has successfully renewed its Athena Swan Silver Award for its commitment to gender equality and creating a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Established in 2005, the Athena Swan Charter is a global framework that supports and recognises the advancement of gender equality in higher education and research. WMG has been an Advanced HE Athena Swan member for over a decade and was first awarded Silver in 2020.

Over 30 secondary school students immersed themselves in the world of engineering at WMG last week as part of WMG Outreach'sLink opens in a new window flagship Work Experience Week initiative. The ÉñÂí¸£ÀûӰƬ has been named Motorsport Valley's first STEM Racing Centre of Excellence in a new partnership with , Maaden and Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Teamâ„¢, announced at the Aston Martin Technology Campus (AMRTC) on 1 July.

Opening in the upcoming academic year, the Centre of Excellence will serve as an open-access engineering hub, providing neighbouring schools and students with opportunities to develop practical skills in computer-aided design (CAD), CNC machining and aerodynamic testing using industry-standard equipment.
