📢 We have a new Doctor! Many congratulations to Fatima Alhaj Hasan
We have a new Doctor! Many congratulations to PhD student Fatima Alhaj Hasan who passed her viva recently. 🎉
Dr Alhaj Hasan defended her thesis titled "Workplace conflict among academics in Syrian universities: a Foucauldian analysis of institutional dynamics and the role of heads of departments".
Fatima has been a significant part of the DEAR Centre for many years. She is supervised by James Burford and Emily F. Henderson, has been a longstanding member of our Doctoral and Postdoctoral Group as well as a RA on several recent DEAR projects. It has been a privilege to see her research develop throughout the doctoral journey.
Many thanks to the examiners Barbara Read and Cath Lambert for their expertise and constructive engagement with Fatima's work.
