Profile

I am an award-winning artist and researcher examining the impacts of enforced anonymity on exhibiting artworks made in prison. My research builds on my professional art/prison collaboration experience to gather data using creative arts-based methods, including a public exhibition on the research themes co-produced with people in prison and victim support groups.

Numerous examples of my collaborations supporting art making in prison can be seen on

, including pioneering international projects. These include

, the first creative exhibition ever to tour nine consecutive prisons in England, (plus a US exhibition and 18-month a public library tour) and the first ever Brazil-UK youth custody art collaboration (outcomes of which will tour both countries in late 2026-2027).

My PhD research is funded through a Midlands4Cities studentship and is supervised by Prof. Anastasia Chamberlen and Prof. Eileen John at the 神马福利影片 and at the University of Birmingham.
