The annual MLK Day of Service gave Widener students, faculty, and staff the chance to celebrate the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his vision of social justice and community-building.
Known as WAVE, the federally-funded initiative is bringing together voices and perspectives from across campus 鈥 including, and especially, students 鈥 with the goal of providing people with the tools and skills needed to change culture.

When the Chester Community Clinic first opened in September 2009 its purpose was simple: serve the community and give students an exceptional learning experience. Years of dedication to quality care and strategic transformation have established the clinic as an anchor in the community and a celebrated national model for student-led pro bono care and education.

Widener is home to many sets of siblings, past and present, who have fallen in love with the school and passed down their pride to the next generation.
From class reunions and dedications to lectures and tailgates, this year鈥檚 Homecoming saw a record turnout in celebration of the university鈥檚 traditions and the growing Pride community who call Widener home.
