These trilingual Widener graduates have tapped into language programs and international clubs and services to help secure internships and other opportunities that will give them an advantage on the job market.

Widener is more flexible, capable, and effective as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Adapting to remote operations has positioned faculty, staff, and students with the agility to stay connected and continue to advance the university's mission.

During Courage Week 2021, students, alumni, faculty, and staff reflected on their own courage and how it has helped them navigate their academic, professional, and personal lives.

Fall at Widener will offer expanded campus dining opportunities for everyone. Residential students will enjoy housing improvements made since 2019 worth $5.5 million, and an enhanced programming budget.

The Widener community connected virtually with Bryan Alexander, an award-winning, internationally known futurist, researcher and writer who works in the field of higher education's future, for the highly anticipated annual Beideman Visiting Scholar lecture.
Beyond continuing lessons, the band has created hybrid, virtual, and on-campus video performances, and four members were selected to take part in a video performance for the national college football championship game.

As the nation recognizes Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his work as an advocate for peace and social justice, members of the Widener University community are encouraged to honor his legacy by spending time completing community service projects individually, and participating in a week of special events.

A collaboration with Windesheim University in The Netherlands has Widener business students working virtually across borders, time zones, and cultures鈥攁nd finding friends in the process.

A series of science fairs hosted by Widener elementary teacher candidates shows the creativity and resiliency of the students, their teachers, and a community-focused program.
