A new, public-facing mural on campus is designed to further bridge the Widener and greater Chester communities together.

Widener has seen a significant increase in international applicants and has welcomed students from across the globe, including countries never represented on campus before.

In recent years, female students, especially those of diverse backgrounds, have emerged in key leaderships roles on campus, including the current all-female Student Government Association executive board.

Responding to student feedback and needs, Widener will shuffle several of its retail dining locations for fall 2023, including moving Moe’s Southwest Grill to the University Center and adding an Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and Cinnabon outlet.

Widener has announced a new, multi-year partnership agreement with the Philadelphia Union, making Widener the Official University of the Philadelphia Union, Subaru Park, and WSFS Bank Sportsplex.
