Helpdesk
The Helpdesk is staffed Mon-Sun from 08:00-20:00 and is located by the entrance of the Library.
- We can help with questions about your Library Account, paying a charge; borrowing and renewing items; reserving an item (Click and Collect request) and much more
- Get it For Me items are collected from the Helpdesk
- We can help you find items in Library Search the Library’s discovery catalogue
- If you lose an item in the Library, Helpdesk staff may be able to help you locate it

Research and Academic Support
- Contact your Research and Academic Support Librarian to:
- Develop your critical skills in locating and selecting trusted sources to use in your academic work
- Use specialist search tools and databases to locate scholarly or primary information for your academic work
- Communicate the sources you find through effective referencing and avoiding plagiarism
- Develop understanding and competence in research data management and open access publishing
- Suggest items to be added to our collections – either to support your study or research or to help diversify our collection
Customer Services Team
- Help ensure that Health and Safety policies and guidelines are being followed
- Ensure that everybody is given an equal chance to study in an environment that is conducive to learning and research
- Staff the Library outside normal staffed hours during the evenings and weekends
- Inform customers about Library policy so that Library customers know what is expected of them
- If you feel that you are being disturbed please find one of the Customer Services team
- Please report the problem at the time it is happening – we can help you more quickly if you do
