Staying safe on and off campus
Whether you are living on or off campus, this may be the first time you have lived away from home or in shared accommodation. Wherever you are living this year, taking care of your personal safety is important, and we encourage you to review the advice and support available, including important phone numbers. Dial 101 for non-emergency police, dial 999 for emergency police, fire and ambulance and 111 for non-emergency medical problems. Students living off campus can access dedicated guidance, including advice on staying safe in and around your student home. You can also download our SafeZone app, which can be used on campus or in partner accommodation.
Road closure: Gibbet Hill Road on 30 and 31 May
Gibbet Hill Road will be partially closed on 30 and 31 May to allow National Grid to carry out essential works just outside the Varsity. As a result, several bus services will be diverted or terminated early. All the details can be found here.
Himalayan Balsam bashing
Join this once-a-year opportunity on Thursday 4 June from 1-2pm, to make a truly meaningful contribution to the management of campus with the Grounds and Gardens Team. Himalayan Balsam, although its pink flowers are beautiful, is bad news for the British countryside. All equipment and training on how to uproot or cut the plants will be provided. The activity contributes to the Warwick Award.
Looking after yourself during exam season
It鈥檚 important to look after yourself during exam season, make time for your wellbeing and reach out for extra support if you need it. Take a look at our webpage with tips for supporting your wellbeing before, during and after exams. There is also a strong Support Network at Warwick to help you. Join the Global Lounge at The Nook every Wednesday, 2.00–4.00pm, for free snacks, drinks and a chance to meet other students. In Week 4, take part in Let鈥檚 Pause and Meditate, and in Week 5, join Study, Solve & Connect. This event is part of DeStresstival.

Sunday, 8 March was International Women鈥檚 Day, and we celebrated our women of Warwick by dedicating digital plaques of appreciation. The 'Wall of Women' can be viewed online - browse the wall and see the uplifting messages left for our staff and students.

Wellness Day on 11 February!
Join us on 11 February from 12:30 - 3:30pm in OC0.01 for a selection of activities designed to help you take a break from studies and focus on your wellbeing. From mindfulness pop-ups and an aromatherapy table, to a support services information fair and a talk from mental health advocate Ryan Ridgeway, take some time out of your day to relax and reflect on wellbeing. You can even attend the annual Mini-Farm!
