The has named Widener to its 2022 list of Most Engaged Campuses for College Student Voting. The list recognizes colleges and universities that are making intentional efforts to increase nonpartisan democratic engagement and college student voting. Universities must meet a set criterion such as submitting democratic action engagement plans. Widener was among 394 institutions nationally to achieve this recognition, and one of just 37 in Pennsylvania.
