With over 25 years in the kitchen and a career that spans continents, Stuart Phillips, Head Chef at Warwick Conferences, brings passion, creativity and global influence to every plate. We sat down with Stuart to talk about his journey into food, what makes cooking in a conference and events environment unique, and how he and his team create memorable dining experiences for guests from around the world.


Looking Back on a Career at Warwick Conferences

After an incredible 35 years at Warwick Conferences, we sat down with one of our longest‑serving chefs to reflect on a career shaped by great food, great people, and a rare work–life balance in hospitality. Joining in 1991 with a young family, he quickly found something special here: the chance to cook restaurant‑quality food while still being present at home - something almost unheard of in the industry at the time.

Catering students sharpen their skills with Warwick Conferences’ expert chefs

Hospitality and catering students at Hereward College have been reaping the benefits of two hands-on cookery masterclasses with Warwick Conferences’ expert chefs.

Hereward College – based in Tile Hill – provides study programmes, learning experiences, and award-winning work placement opportunities for young people aged 16-25 with complex disabilities and learning difficulties.
