Women's Golf (Varsity)

A new sport in 2017, women's golf continues to see the program grow and compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference.

Women's Indoor Track and Field (Varsity)

Consistency and academics have been the mark for women's cross country and track & field with strong performances on the field, along with conference and national honors for grades in the classroom.

Women's Lacrosse (Varsity)

Women's lacrosse has grown consistently in the past decade, moving into the top half of the MAC Commonwealth while also being recognized for its work in the classroom.

Women's Outdoor Track and Field (Varsity)

Women's Rugby (Club)

Widener University Women's Rugby is a non-varsity women's rugby team that competes in the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union (EPRU) in spring matches and fall league season play. The club also works to develop strong teamwork skills.

Women's Soccer (Club)

Undergraduate and graduate students

The Widener University Women’s Soccer Club is a non-varsity team that competes against colleges and universities in the National Intramural-Recreation Sports Association (NIRSA) Region 1 League-Philadelphia Division. This is a soccer team for women who have experience playing soccer competitively and wish to improve their skills in teamwork and in their athletic abilities.

Women's soccer has seen some of its best performances since the program's inception in the last several seasons as a new coaching outlook and consistency have elevated the Pride.

Women's Swimming (Varsity)

Undergraduate students

A top-four program in the conference annually, women's swimming has made its mark with several All-Conference student-athletes while also consistently having 75 percent of the team make the MAC Academic Honor Roll.

Women's Volleyball (Varsity)

Open to:

Undergraduate students

One of the first women's programs in Widener Athletics history, women's volleyball has consistently been in the top half of the MAC Commonwealth.

WUCAST Radio

Open to:

All students, faculty, and staff

WUCAST (formerly WDNR) members produce programs and podcasts using industry-standard software and can be heard around the world on our streaming station. The WUCAST facilities are also designed for recording music using MIDI technology and traditional vocals and instruments. Students can hold leadership roles such as program host, program director, and general manager. Clubs and organizations at Widener are welcome to everyone.

WUTV

Open to:

Undergraduate students

WUTV is the student-managed television studio on campus. Students pitch show ideas and work as both talent and crew for all productions. WUTV also produces programming outside of the studio, from sporting events to debates. Clubs and organizations at Widener are welcome to everyone.

Young Americans for Liberty (YAL)

Young Americans for Liberty is the largest, most active, and fastest-growing pro-liberty organization on America’s college campuses. This organization seeks to identify, educate, train, and mobilize young people committed to winning on principle and to gain a stronger appreciation for the virtues of capitalism. Clubs and organizations at Widener are welcome to everyone.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Clubs and organizations at Widener are welcome to everyone. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated serves to empower people from all walks of life and stands firmly against racism and racially-motivated actions that are used to inspire more harm in local communities. Zeta Phi Beta reaches out to its local communities to empower its members and to stand up and try to put an end to discrimination.The Pi Tau Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is chartered on the campus of Widener University.
